Chief of Police
Deputy Chief Shannon Trevino joined the Lake Quivira Police Department in 2010 as a Police Officer. He was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2012.
Deputy Chief Trevino has been a Police Officer for 18 years. In that capacity, Deputy Chief Trevino has been assigned to the Patrol Division, Traffic Safety Unit, Directed Patrol Unit and was a Child Passenger Safety Technician, Evidence Custodian and a Crisis Negotiator.
In 1993, Deputy Chief Trevino earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology from Benedictine College and was a graduate of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center in 1994.
Deputy Chief Trevino considers reducing crime and ensuring community safety a top priority. He believes the most proactive ways to prevent and deter crime is through education, community involvement and police presence.
Chief Fred Grenier joined the Lake Quivira Police Department as a Police Officer in 2009. He was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2010, and appointed to Chief of Police in 2011.
With over 20 years of police experience. He has served in various capacities and all divisions with emphasis on emergency operations, traffic safety, tactical operations, evidence management, fleet management, and professional standards.
Chief Grenier earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Washburn University, and is a 1994 graduate of the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy.
Chief Grenier considers the safety and welfare of the citizens, visitors, and employees of Lake Quivira, as the highest priority. Through community involvement and professional police interaction, we accomplish these goals.
