Dog registration, tag fee and late fee information
Dog registration is renewed annually and is due by May 1st. Registration should be submitted along with a current rabies vaccination certificate. This year (2022), we extended our registration period and waived late fees through July 15th. In 2023, we will resume our regular schedule and anything received after May 1st will incur late fees.
Tag fees:
1 dog - $15
2 dogs - $40 total
3 dogs - $90 total
More than 3 dogs - $90 plus $50 for each dog after 3 dogs.
Late Fee
Because we extended the registration period this year, the late fee for registering your dog after July 15th through Sept 15th is $50 per dog in addition to tag costs. After Sept 15th, the late fee is $100 per dog in addition to tag costs. Below is a link that will take you to the chapter in our City Code Book related to Domestic Animals.
