March 7th-13th - "Heroes Week"
Along with Johnson County and several other local jurisdictions, Lake Quivira is proclaiming March 7th – 13th as “Heroes Week”.
We want to recognize our staff and our community (as well as Emergency Management, Public Health Officials, Healthcare workers, Teachers and ALL those) who experienced a year of pandemic together.
You may remember that Johnson County had its first COVID-19 case on March 7th and declared a State of Emergency on March 13th.
During HEROES WEEK, the City Hall building will be illuminated in blue to commemorate all that selflessly served during the global pandemic.
