Police Department

Lake Quvira’s Police Department keeps residents and their visitors safe and provides emergency response services. The Lake Quivira Police Department patrols public and private roads within the city’s boundaries. Police officers are responsible for providing assistance, responding to emergencies and addressing unsafe conditions and violations of laws and regulations.
Lake Quivira dissolved its all-volunteer fire department in 2018. The City began contracting with Shawnee Fire Department for emergency response services on January 1, 2018. Emergency response services are coordinated with the Lake Quivira Police Department.
