Mayor and City Council

The City of Lake Quivira is governed by a mayor-council form of government. It features an elected mayor who serves as the chief executive with five elected council members, who serve as the legislative body. The mayor and a full-time city clerk/administrator conduct the day-to-day business of the City. The Mayor is elected to serve a two-year term. Council Members are elected to serve four-year terms.
