City Honors Departing Resident Ron Bower

Mayor Brady Lilja honored longtime resident Ron Bower at the City Council meeting on August 4, 2023. The honor acknowledges Ron’s tireless service as a photographer and videographer for the City and other community groups and entities.

Mayor Lilja read a proclamation designating Ron “forever Quiviran” and presented him with a Key to the City.

“Ron is definitely a valued citizen of Lake Quivira,” said the Mayor. “He was always the one to answer the call, never said no, and exemplified the gift of service.”

Ron, and his wife Lisa, will be greatly missed as they begin their next chapter in Arizona.
